1. Introduction

Welcome to Car Rental Shehu (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (hereinafter the “Terms”) apply to the use of our website (https://shehurentalcars.al/) and any services, including car rental services, offered through it. By accessing or using our website, booking a rental, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services or website.

2. Definitions

• Owner: Car Rental Shehu, NIPT L51316034A, represented by Mr. Artur Shehu.
• Renter/You: Any individual or entity who enters into a rental agreement or uses our website or services.
• Vehicle: Any motor vehicle offered for rent by Car Rental Shehu.
• Rental Agreement: The physical or electronic contract you sign when renting a vehicle, which includes specific rental details.

3. Scope of Services

1. Rental Services: We provide car rental services, subject to the terms of our Rental Agreement and these Terms.
2. Geographical Use: Unless otherwise specified, vehicles may only be driven within Albanian borders. Driving outside Albania requires prior written consent from the Owner.
3. Website Use: Our website is offered solely for your personal, non-commercial use, including viewing, reserving, or modifying car rental bookings.

4. Rental Requirements

1. Eligibility: Renters must:
   • Present a valid driver’s license (international driver’s license if required).
   • Meet our minimum age requirements.
   • Provide a valid passport or ID (as required under Albanian law).
   • Provide a valid credit/debit card or PayPal account for payment or security deposit.
2. Rental Agreement: Before taking possession of any vehicle, you must sign a Rental Agreement that outlines specific terms (rental period, insurance coverage, responsibilities, etc.). These Terms supplement the Rental Agreement.

5. Insurance & Protection Options

We offer several insurance and protection packages, as detailed in our Rental Agreement:

• Basic Protection: Third-party insurance only.
• Kasko Protection: Covers up to 80% of vehicle damages, with you responsible for 20%.
• Full Kasko Protection: Zero-deductible coverage for damages and vandalism, plus theft protection.
• All Inclusive Protection: Includes full kasko, tire & windshield protection, roadside assistance, interior protection, and theft protection.

Exclusions: Insurance is void in specific circumstances such as driving under the influence (DUI), unauthorized drivers, off-road driving, violation of traffic laws, or driving outside authorized areas without permission. Refer to the Rental Agreement for detailed exclusions and obligations.

6. Booking & Payment

1. Reservations: You can reserve a vehicle online or by contacting us. All reservations are subject to availability.
2. Pricing: All prices include applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated. Optional services or extras (e.g., additional drivers, GPS, infant seat) may incur additional charges.
3. Payment Method: We accept major credit cards and PayPal. By providing payment information, you confirm you are authorized to use that payment method.
4. Security Deposit: We may require a security deposit. The deposit is refundable provided the vehicle is returned undamaged and with no outstanding charges (e.g., tickets, late fees).

7. Use of the Vehicle & Renter Responsibilities

1. Proper Use: You agree to use the vehicle for lawful purposes only, following all traffic regulations, not exceeding passenger/cargo capacity, and never sub-renting or using the vehicle for racing or towing.
2. Accident & Damage Reporting: In case of an accident:
   • Do not move the vehicle.
   • Notify the police and Car Rental Shehu immediately.
   • Collect evidence (photos, accident reports).
   • Complete all required documentation.
     Failure to follow these procedures may result in you being fully responsible for damages.
3. Fines & Violations: You are responsible for all fines and traffic violations incurred during the rental period. You must inform us within five (5) days of receiving a fine; failure to do so may result in additional charges.
4. Vehicle Condition: Return the vehicle in the same condition you received it, normal wear and tear excepted. A cleaning fee may apply if returned excessively dirty or with evidence of smoking.

8. Additional Drivers

You may allow additional drivers only if they:

• Meet all rental qualifications.
• Are explicitly listed and authorized in the Rental Agreement.

The primary renter remains fully responsible for all charges, damages, and violations.

9. Limitation of Liability

1. No Liability for Personal Property: We are not responsible for any items left or forgotten in the vehicle.
2. Indirect Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
3. Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failures to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Contract Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or cancel the rental agreement and retrieve the vehicle if:

1. The Renter breaches any term of the Rental Agreement or these Terms.
2. We detect a high risk of vehicle damage or misuse.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any dispute related to them or our services, shall be governed by Albanian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the District Court of Tirana.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any revised Terms.
